A Thought

I remember never a thought
A thought as a thought just comes by
Often tears flow out of the window
Memories with rain simply walk by.

All memory lanes look too deserted & old
Yet Footprints left yesterday on shores are still alive
Despite changed seasons ticking by again over years
The Closed book opens a buried past back in time.

Each cracked mirror bit reflects it’s own truth
But what about the truth hidden within?
All are eager, anxious to count smiles
No one sees the pain within.

Some things may seem lost forever
But fragrance of their memories always live on
Moments may change for some with time
For some, they grow still stronger in time.
