Khwaish hai zindagi ki,
Ki tum saath hote to chand taron se hum aashiyaane
ko sajate,
Mehki fizaon ke saath, chedte khushi ke taraane,
Labon par thirakte, khushnuma shehar shamey Gulzar hoti,
Bhari Mehfil mein hum tanha na hote,
Hasin khwab bhari raaton mein rang bharte sabse,
Dilkash nazaare hote,
Baat hi aur hoti jo tum paas hote!
