Title: Zima golden fried Mushrooms (Appetizers - Vegetarian)

* 2 tsps Sesame Oil
* 200 gms Mushrooms
* 1 tsp Seasame seeds
* Oil for deep frying
* Salt according to taste

For Batter
* 30 ml Oil
* 30 gms Corn Flour
* 150 gms Refined Flour
* 40 gms Baking powder
* Salt and Pepper to taste


For the batter
1. Mix all ingredients except oil in water. Make a batter of coating consistency. Add oil to the batter and rest for a while. Mix again thoroughly.
2. Season mushrooms with salt and sesame oil.
3. Add sesame seeds to the batter.
4. Dip mushrooms in the batter and fry over medium heat till golden brown.
5. Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce.

Tip: Always make sure that the potatoes are boiled well in advance and cooled before you use them. It would be better if they can be refrigerated for a short time. This helps the starch in the potatoes to settle down and the tikkis will not be gooey.
