Each year, New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art hosts the Costume Institute Benefit Gala. Better known as the Met Gala (short for Metropolitan), the purpose of the evening is to raise funds for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. But for the rest of us, the whole point of the evening is to basically be in awe of top Hollywood celebrities and/or make fun of their outrageous outfits. So, let's begin shall we?
