We have been friends for so long
And with each passing day
Our bond of love keeps getting strong.

You are there to comfort me
You talk to me and you support me
Whenever my life's drowning in pain.

I know a tear in my eye
Causes immense discomfort to you
Then you feel sad and you are in vain.

I know my friend what you desire
From this moment of today tomorrow again
