Did you know that the longest nonstop flight in the world is going to be 17-and-a-half-hours long! Emirates Airlines announced that it would operate the longest nonstop flight in the world from next year. It doesn't sound like fun in the least. With all that tossing and turning, and being stuck on your seat, and doubtful flight food, air travel can get quite tiring. But this isn't a first. We compiled 11 of the longest cross-continental routes, bound to test your travel patience.
