An assorted platter of meats and peppers makes this a great summertime meal.
Chicken, Chops & Sausage Platter
2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme leaves* 1 tablespoon LAND O LAKES® Butter, melted 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh garlic 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 split chicken breasts 2 (3/4-inch thick) pork chops 2 Italian sausages 3 medium red, yellow and/or orange bell peppers, quartered 2 medium red onions, cut into wedges
1. Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white. 2. combine thyme, butter, garlic, pepper and salt in small bowl. Place chicken, pork chops and sausages on grill. Grill for 20 minutes, basting with butter mixture and turning occasionally. 3. Place peppers on grill around meats. Continue grilling until peppers are blackened (18 to 25 minutes).
Makes 6 servings.
TIP: Assorted meats may vary the grilling time. Remove to serving platter as they are done.
*Substitute 2 teaspoons dried thyme leaves.
