Serves: 3 to 4
Ingredients
3 cups mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, beans,) boiled
1 cup potato, boiled and mashed
Half cup paneer, mashed
1 tbsp green coriander chopped
Half tbsp green chilli chopped
Half tsp red chilli powder
Salt
A pinch of sugar
1 tsp dried mango powder or aamchur
2 tbsp oil
100 gms white flour

Method

Stuffing

Heat oil. Add green chilly and allow it to splutter few minutes. Add the boiled vegetable mash. Saute for five minutes. Add mashed potatoes. Add red chilly, salt and aamchur. Saute for another five minutes. Add green coriander and paneer. Mix well. Divide into 14 portions.

Dough

Add water and salt to the flour. Knead into soft dough. Cover with a wet muslin cloth and keep aside for 15 minutes. Knead dough into peda-sized (one inch diameter) balls. Flatten each shape in the palm of your hand. Place a little of the vegetable mixture in the centre and then shape into a round ball. Roll each ball like a chapatti; keep it three inches in diameter. Shallow fry on a tawa. Serve hot
