The symbol for Virgo is a woman (a virgin of the harvest) holding a sheaf of wheat and a pictograph that represents closed genitalia. The legend associated with Virgo is of Astra, the Greek goddess of love and purity. Astra was the last of the Gods to leave Earth after Pandora opened a box that let evils into the world. She ascended to the heavens and became the constellation Virgo. Ancient Greeks believed that when the Golden Age of man arrived on earth she would return.

Virgo's prize intelligence, their own and that of others. Analytical and exacting they love to gather facts and then practically apply what they know. Sometimes, however, they focus so much on details that they miss the whole picture or over-complicate issues. While critical, they don't take criticism well; if you become frustrated because a Virgo seems to be missing the main point, it's best to just let it go.
