Fruits in Pineapple Juice Time: 15-30 mins |
Ingredients: 2 cups - chopped mixed fruits (unpeeled apples, grapes, sweet lime, pineapple, etc.) ¾ cup - freshly made pineapple juice
Method:
1. Mix the chopped fruits and the pineapple juice in a serving bowl and refrigerate. 2. Serve chilled.
Tips:
1. A puree of fruits like green melons, watermelons, papayas and apples can be used instead of pineapple juice. 2. Get creative: Add ingredients like chaat masala, amchur (dry mango powder) or chopped mint (phudina) leaves to add zest to the fruit bowl.

Note:
* Eating a fresh fruit salad steeped in fruit juice can be wonderful dessert idea. * Do not peel the apples to retain the soluble fibre (pectin) that lies just beneath the skin and helps to remove bad cholesterol from the body.
