Title: Dry Fruit Barfi

Preparation Time : 15 mins.
Cooking Time : 1 hr.
Serves / Makes : 16 pieces.

Ingredients
1 liter full fat milk
2 tsp curds
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp javitri powder
1/4 tsp elaichi powder
2 tbsp chopped pistachios
2 tbsp chopped almonds
2 tbsp chopped figs
2 tbsp chopped walnuts
4 drops kewra essence

Method
1. Bring the milk to a boil in heavy bottom pan. Add the curds & stir continuously on a sow flame(approx 30 - 35 min).
2. Add the sugar, nutmeg, mace, cardamom and chopped dry fruits & continue cooking very low flame till the milk thickens.
3. Add 3/4 cup of water & keep stirring over a slow flame till all the moisture has evapourated and the mixture leaves the sides of the pan
4. Add the kewra essence & mix well. Remove from the fire & pour into 100 mm. x 100 mm. square tin.
5. Allow it to cool & cut in 16 squares.
