Title: Mashed Potatoes (Appetizers - Vegetarian) Post by: maheshkumar on March 02, 2008, 10:46:53 PM Ingredients: * ¼ stick Butter * 2/3 cup Buttermilk * 1 tbsp Garlic paste * 750 gm Potatoes, unpeeled * Salt and Black Pepper to taste Method: 1. The potatoes should be scrubbed, cut in pieces, and brought to a boil. 2. Reduce heat to medium and cook until tender, for about 20 minutes. 3. In a separate pan saute'' garlic. 4. Add potatoes, buttermilk and thoroughly mash. Don''t use a blender unless you want the potatoes to be creamy. Tip: Heat the utencil first, then add oil. This way oil spreads well. You will use less oil this way. |
