Korean artist Lee Jae Hyo in his work has managed to achieve the near impossible huge trunk of trees turns in the usual unusual solid wood. He creates magnificent sculptures, furniture, and other magnificent works of art. Lee transforms the wild into the aesthetic, his method, too, derives from the uncontrolled, accidental processes of nature. In Lee’s efforts to reclaim the natural from the traditional his work speaks to a modernity more grounded in simplicity than extravagance. The sculptor's works can be seen in the exhibition halls of museums, in the streets, and just in the woods.
