Just Another Day

It was an unusually wonderful day;
I don't know really what to say.
The light breeze kissed me on my cheek,
A little bird at the window, took a peek.
I chased a yellow feather flying by me;
I wanted to be just like it:happy and free.
The wind in the trees heaved a contented sigh
The light soothing music drifted by.
The day grew warmer and the sun shone bright,
Tiny buds blossomed in pink, red and white.
And as I sat thinking dreamily,
Under a big,green apple tree.
A thought just came and went away:
This was just another spring day.
