Lake Hamilton Pool Pool Gameltona formed when the cave collapsed underground river over a thousand years ago, when this was created by a waterfall and grotto, where you can swim. Hamilton Pool is a perfect example of a typical geology Balcones Canyonlands and Edwards Plateau. The pool is located near the Pedernales River and Hamilton Creek in southwest Travis County.
