Fruits dipped in chocolate
Number of Servings: 4 Prep Time: 20 min Skill Level: Easy
Ingredients: 4 oz semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped 1 tsp vegetable oil 1 green apple, cored, cut into 8 wedges and patted dry 1 red apple, cored, cut into 8 wedges and patted dry 1 Cup whole strawberries, patted dry Small Cup dried apricot halves Ѕmall Cup dried pear halves
Instructions: In a small bowl set over, not in, a pan of simmering water, melt the chocolate, stirring frequently. Remove bowl from over the pan, stir in the oil and let cool slightly.
With a fork, spear each apple wedge and dip halfway into the melted chocolate. Place on a wire rack set over a sheet of wax paper.
One at a time, by hand, dip the strawberries, apricots, and pears halfway into the melted chocolate and place on the rack. Let the fruits stand until the chocolate is firm (If necessary, refrigerate for up to 30 minutes to help set the chocolate)
