Aerials by Design has been flying aerial photography missions all over the United States for the past 7 years and while doing so has managed to find the entire alphabet from a Cessna 172.  These aerial alphabet images come from many different US states including Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Louisiana, Texas, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming & more.  This entire project took about 4 years of flying state to state to complete the alphabet.
