As part of her Miles to Empty exhibition and in honour of her grandfather artist Shannon Goff has constructed a 1979 Lincoln Continental made entirely from cardboard with incredible detail. In order to really bring the car to life Goff spent a lot of time in the interior of the car, carefully carving the dashboard and steering wheel and following every line as accurately as possible.

"Miles To Empty explores the car as a metaphor for the complexities of American life in general, and for my own experiences as a native of the city of Detroit specifically," she writes. To see more of Goff's work visit here.
